Born in Dumfries, Scotland and raised in Canada, Emily begun their photographic journey when they were gifted their first camera at 9 years old. Since then, photography has become their way of expression and connection. This is done through portraits, and landscapes, capturing moments of people and the world, to communicate and spark feelings. In Emily's photographic process they gain inspiration from things around them, from the way light appears on a walk or in a film, a line from a book or an experience shared by a friend. Then, expressing these ideas or feelings to tell a story.
